Not receiving system Email or SMS messages
The fact is that about 80-90% of All email on the internet is spam and businesses anticipate increasing the number of email campaigns on the web.
To stop the bombardment, people and businesses are creating filters, or buying company services that filter email so that they receive only content that they deem relevant to them. So, whether or not an email is legitimate, if a receiving host or email spam program is aggressive or set a certain way, your emails could very easily get marked as spam. Unfortunately, this is not a SiteFusion server issue. This is a general issue with email that you will find no matter where you host your business emails.
We encourage our customers to white-list the following domains:
- sitefusion.us
- sitefusion-thor.us
- sitefusion-odin.us
By doing so, our system messages should not get filtered as Spam.
SMS
SiteFusion uses SMS services to send links to your phone, such as site locations, invoices, password reset codes, vCards, ect. SiteFusion does not generate any unsolicited messages but rather only sends a message when a user initiates the request.
If you are not receiving these messages on your mobile device it is likely for one of the following reasons….
- Your phone number or email is not set up correctly in SiteFusion. Please go to “User Preferences” and check that your phone number and phone provider is set up correctly.
- The messages are being blocked as Spam by your service provider. In such as case, it is necessary for you to call them and have our servers “whitelisted”.
Currently we have two servers which send emails and SMS’s. They are:
sitefusion-thor.us
sitefusion-odin.us
Our servers have current SSL certificates installed and are verified by “Lets Encrypt” certificate authority. Furthermore, our servers are never used for spam and are tightly controlled in order to give you reliable service.
